Common Questions
Which server version should I buy?
What cables do I need?
Tesla Model 3 & Y center console harnesses are available at Amazon 2019 or 2018, GPS Tracking America, E-Mobility (Europe), and AliExpress. 2021+ can use this dual bus adapter from EVOffer with the new A-pillar connector.
Tesla Model S & X diagnostic connector harnesses from Maxwell are recommended for dual bus support. 2021+ should use this dual bus adapter from EVOffer. Single bus versions are commonly available elsewhere.
Rivian support may be coming soon with a custom adapter.
Microdisplays require any microUSB cable for power, which will vary on your installation preference and your car's USB port type.
Something stopped working after a Tesla update!
Unlike most other car manufacturers, Tesla makes small change to their communications networks with each software update. If they change something with data your display or server is monitoring, then it will now have the wrong information. Usually we just need to make some changes to the Analysis signals. Contact me or keep an eye on this recent changes notice page.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, Shopify handles this at checkout and even offers discounted shipping rates. Beware mail can take weeks, so I have UPS and DHL options as well. Note many countries may charge you VAT or customs fees after receipt.
Where are the manuals?
Will this work with another brand car?
Probably! Most cars have CAN networks, but I would need help finding the connection (it's often in the OBD port) and decoding the data (sometimes DBCs are available online). If you are willing to help, get in touch!
